MotorMania review: Maruti Suzuki's Brezza 2022

India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki launched its all-new Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2022 with a completely new makeover. It was featured on June 30, 2022. Powered with a 1462 K12c, 4-cylinder Bs6 petrol engine, which churns out a max power of 101.65 bhp@6000 rpm and 136.8nm of torque @4400 rpm, the car starts at INR 7.99 lakh and goes all the way up to INR 13.96 lakh.


Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2022 is available in six different colours (Pearl Arctic white, splendid silver, Magma Grey, Sizzling Red, Brave Khaki and Exuberant Blue) with four variants, including LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI(O).


Exterior & Interior


The new upgrade of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2022 comes with a majestic cosmetic overhaul. While the car retains its body, the exterior now features:



New grille with chrome inserts

Fog lights

Contrast-coloured skid plate

New front and rear bumpers

Roof rails

16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels

Blacked-out A, B, and C pillars

Wrap around LED taillights

Brezza lettering on the boot lid

Integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp and a shark fin antenna.


Meanwhile, the four-wheeler has a seating capacity of 5 people. The new updates include soft touch material around the dashboard and door grab handle areas. It's also now equipped with an electric sunroof, paddle shifters (for the automatic transmission), Head-Up-Display (HUD), Suzuki connect telematics, and a new nine-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, six airbags and ESP.


The New Maruti Suzuki Brezza is now in the race with Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra XUV 300.
